I wanted to jump through the radio and bitch slap the Jesus out of this prissy English queer; 'self-proclaimed Godfather of Soul', no you limey dogfucker, he was the Godfather of Soul and there was no self-proclaimed about it. The thing I love about James Brown, well one of the things I love is that he sounded like he was having fun on all of his albums, it wasn't just that he had to go into the studio and crank something out so he could afford his cocaine habit. No, coke habit or no he was always into it, he loved the music and he was the Godfather of Soul.
