and Fnarf regarding TIGHT trousers, you've never seen me in person have you? I have all my trousers cut to fit - ankle cuff @ 12" round, inseem 28", waist 29/30". and now that I bike to work my trousers are just that much tighter...if it ain't tigt it ain't right!

FNARF! You don't get out much??? Most guys I see are waring "tight trousers", Jeans, pants. I do.
Now go listen to the Bowie version of the "Who's" "Can't explain" from the "Pinups" album. It is great too. "Pinups" was a tribute to all the bands that inspired Bowie in the 60's.
