David Goldstein (Horse’s Ass) and Stefan Sharkansky (Sound Politics) actually agree on something: this week’s feature story by Eli Sanders on “Seattle’s Jewish Problem” is a must-read.
This idiot, however, begs to differ.
A good complement to the article can be found in the Seattle Civil Rights Project maps at http://depts.washington.edu/civilr/segregation_maps.htm (scroll down) that show the Seattle Sephardic and Ashkenazic Jewish populations in the CD in 1939.
Also included are maps of the CD showing other ethnic groups in the CD, which provides graphic evidence of Eli’s analysis.
