Music For Your Holiday Enjoyment

It’s Christmastime
There’s no need to be afraid
At Christmastime, we let in light and we banish shade
And in our world of plenty we can spread a smile of joy
Throw your arms around the world at Christmastime
But say a prayer
Pray for the other ones
At Christmastime it’s hard, but when you’re having fun
There’s a world outside your window
And it’s a world of dread and fear
Where the only water flowing is the bitter sting of tears
And the Christmas bells that ring there are the clanging
chimes of doom
Well tonight thank God it’s them instead of you
And there won’t be snow in Africa this Christmastime
The greatest gift they’ll get this year is life
(Oooh) Where nothing ever grows
No rain nor rivers flow
Do they know it’s Christmastime at all?
(Here’s to you) raise a glass for everyone
(Here’s to them) underneath that burning sun
Do they know it’s Christmastime at all?
Feed the world
Feed the world
Feed the world
Let them know it’s Christmastime again
Feed the world
Let them know it’s Christmastime again

jesus, ecb, we're trying to deal with the Great Flood of Ought-Six over here at the moment!
lolZ. big lolZ.
Slow night at the Comfort Inn, eh? C'mon Keck, pony up for a hotel with a bar.
Ah, the song that kicked off the - what would you call it? Pop musicians against Hunger movement? This was a hell of a lot better than "USA for Africa."
oh, I've upgraded - to the Hampton Inn downtown, no less! dozens of bars in walking distance!
The Bouncing souls have an awesome version of this song.
Ah, the memories.
It's the Bouncing Souls with Weston, Red-- don't discount their contributions.
That’s one bizarre-ass post right in the middle of the biblical flood.
I cannot tell you how much a freaking loved this song. And now, looking back -- it's like a Who's Who of oxymoronic pop success. Paul Young? Nowhere. Bono? Despite his mullet, bigger than God.
And who was the earnest thin man -- Paul Weller? Plus, excellent hair from the members of Duran Duran, but not so much Boy George.
Hey ECB, some good bars for you to try in Denver are, Williams on 17th, Mario's Double Daughter Salotto on Market, The Skylark on Broadway, Bannock St Garage on Bannock, Benders on E 13th, Irish Snug on Colfax and Streets Of London Pub on Colfax.
Bannock St has free Cheesy Poofs!
