It's also about community, friendship, loss, and the blunt force of will that makes mankind the master of all beasts. Zoo is a documentary but, like Police Beat, it's also sensual and gorgeous and otherworldly. It left my stomach and my brain both in small knots. I'm not a film fan (I dislike most movies; can't sit through them), but you must trust me when I tell you that you can't wait to see Zoo....
