<description><![CDATA[<p>Looking over the completed auctions out of curiosity (I didn't bid on any nor intended to), there are a curious number of auctions that were won at the last minute by a new first-time bidder.  Seems a bit fishy... though at the same time, some strategic bidders may have known the closing times and sought to win the auctions with 11th hour, 59th minute bids, which would then prove to be a good strategy, because existing bidders wouldn't see you coming and wouldn't be ready to weigh rebidding and outbid you.  Genius.</p>]]></description>
