Damn, what idiots, they are humiliated so they're going to sue and get their asses served to them in court? and that's not humiliating?

their logic is astounding.

Using the Mel Gibson defense is never a smart move.

I hope they never get laid again.

Fremont News closing is sad. Guess we'll have to go to the Dubliner and talk about current events over a few pints.

Is it me, or is the article about Fremont News complete mush? It's closing because the freaks have been driven out by the gentry? I don't quite follow the logic there. Only freaks buy paper magazines?

Ah well, I'm probably just unable to digest the notion that Blue C Sushi is an upscale sushi place. Who knew!

Remember the shaggy hipster at Orpheum that was rude to everybody? The guy described as the "most indier-than-thou record store clerk"? And recalled by one Slog commenter: "no matter what you were looking for, he gave you a look like you were buying a steaming turd"? I saw him working at Fremont News a couple of week ago.

Interesting that the frat boys suddenly became so humiliated after the film grossed $26 million in the first week.

I don't think anyone says anything while drunk that they wouldn't have thought while they were sober.

In good news about Fremont, one of the former owners of the Still Life Cafe in Fremont is buying out the current bistro owners - if they bring back a cafe, I'll start going there again - I used to be a regular and I walk by it more than two times a day.
