I don't mind that Japan has a better trasportation system or that their schools are better than ours but do they also have to have such bloody good TV too? Sure we've made movies out of Philip K. Dick novels but it seems like all of their TV is inspired by the man.

THANK YOU! While on other days I may be upset at the exploitation and mistreatment of animals, on this dismal Wednesday I needed some cheering up. Hilarious.

When they get in close enough that you can look into the monkey's eyes, it's really depressing that he/she is being made to perform this crap. I also feel sorry for the camel (although camels have never struck me as being anything more than disagreeable about whatever you're asking them to do). I'd be depressed that people in other countries still enjoyed watching this be done to animals; however . . . .

Why do we feel sorry for a monkey that's a talk show host when nobody feels sorry for David Leterman. Oh you say it's a matter of choice do you? "David Leterman has a choice where the monkey doesn't." Well if you think that one can choose to be a talk show host you're mad. David Leterman had as much choice in the matter as this little fellow.
If you look closely into David Leterman's eyes it is very depressing.

I wish the dialogue was translated into English, because I have a feeling the real stars of this show are the guys ad-libbing the dialogue while the animals do their schtick.

And seriously, these critters are probably treated better than your average office drone, so what's to complain about?

What the chimpanzee in the middle really wants to do is direct.

Chimpanzees are not monkeys, they are apes. Please make a note of it.

Thanks Gillian.

FYI, you're an ape.

Chimps in captivity live often live to be 50 years old. But after they reach about 4 or 5, they can no longer be kept under control and are no longer used to perform. The lucky few are sent to wildlife refuges or zoos, but most end up being experimneted on, lving in tiny cages, or just put down.

I'm not saying it isn't funny. But retarded children used for entertainment would be funny too. Funny, but wrong.
