...and meanwhile, Republicans have begun closing the electoral gap.

*...and meanwhile, Republicans have begun closing the electoral gap.*

Or that's what Uncle Karl wants you to believe.

Great vid. Hope the creator can step up and claim it.

Totally powerful video. It reminds me that all of us need to be going door-to-door and making last push phone calls. Although Californian Congressional rep will probably remain Democratic, California teens are about to lose their right to have an abortion without parent notification...

"Or that's what Uncle Karl wants you to believe."

Uh, no....that's what the Pew Research Center would have you believe, based on polling from Nov 2 (I think).

Point being: Democrats still have plenty of time to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. I get nervous when liberals make smug propaganda videos about elections that they haven't yet won.

#6 Why, why, WHY do people think that harrassing citizens is a good way to 'get involved?'

Personally, and many, many citizens agree with me, it gets on my nerves when someone gets in my face or calls me for a political cause, and turns me off to their cause.

You simpletons need to come up with something new.

Sorry, Gomez, but calls and doorbelling actually work. They get people to the polls.

Oh, Gomez, please: Rove is the wonderboy expressly because of some of the amazing GOTV efforts, which include micro-targeting, push-polls, door-knocking, etc.
If people here are simpletons for advocating such, then the Republicans must be drooling morons.
(wait a minute...)

I had the same debate with a roommate once: I hate all forms of telemarketing, he said that it's an effective way for our school to gather money from alumni. He pointed out, if more people were like me (and Gomez), it wouldn't be effective. Sadly, though, many people are passive doofuses who respond to what's put in front of them most forcefully. That's why telemarketing is effective, and Gomez and I will always be suffering.

I almost think "father figure" woulda been a better song choice!

This would be more effective if it wasn't so cheesy. The lip-sync cuts killed it for me. What is it with amateur liberal stuff and cheesiness?

Or, what is it with liberals picking one another apart and dissecting every little thing instead of getting into group formation like the right? Thanks, Dan - Im sitting here in Mexico talking to people from all over the world and how, how much they cannot believe what we have become, and its nice to be able to say, hey, its only 25% of us - look at this.

Thank you, I'm a pessimist and some days it takes something like this to remind me that I'm not alone in looking forward to change.
