Foskett was at about 14%.
More on him—a lot more—later!

This is amazing. I can't begin to describe the waves of relief that I'm feeling today.

No more of that pompous ass Luke Esser? This is too good to be true.

Going into this election, I've been so angry about the direction of the country that even my gums were throbbing, and now I'm feeling something that I haven't felt in years: hope.

We also picked up the 47th District Senate seat - formerly held by Steve "I-Love-The-BIAW" Johnson, who just got SPANKED by Susan Owens. Claudia Kauffman is now my new state Senator!

...and we still have a chance of eradicating Pam Roach; Yvonne Ward is still running pretty close to her.

Man, I haven't felt this good about my country since the 1990 election.

BTW, a while back there was a rumor going round that Lieberman might be appointed to a cabinet position or some such, thus leaving his (now re-won) CT Senate seat open for appointment by the GOP Guv. Does anyone know if that scenario could be back in play (assuming it ever was)?

I was talking with the Speaker of the House (the other one, my state rep) last night, and some of the areas we picked up we haven't been in since the 1930's!

Glad our fiscally disciplined people won!
