That NYT poll says ONLY 29% approve of the way Bush is handling the war -- not that 29% disapprove. Just a bit of a difference!

And now for something completely different:

I, Not-So-Anonymous,

This has gone on for years and I can’t take it anymore.

I enjoy the sauna at the gym after a tough workout. The heat feels good on sore muscles and the hot and sweaty guys are a plus. Do we understand each other? Good, OK then.

So dude, in the name of all that is sacred and decent, what compels you to enter the sauna naked and proceed to strike all kinds of bizarre yoga poses? I know that some guys are into you Chris Farley types, and I wish you the best, but Jebus H Christ we don’t need to see that!

I’ll admit the shocked and horrified expressions on the faces of first timers are amusing. I guess it’s not everyday they get to see your one man re-enactment of the Kama Sutra, but really, human limbs are not meant to bend in those directions.

Look, I’m not asking for the world here, just put on a towel and cut out the forbidden dance for frak’s sake.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this request. Sheesh.

Eensy,
Fixed Kerry link. Sorry about that. Sheesh. I'm moving slow this morning.

My favorite news of the day is Bush promising that Rumsfeld and Cheney will stay until 2008. If there's one thing that's gonna sway undecideds, that's it.

It's starting to look like the Republicans are wasting their time going after Kerry. He's not up for reelection, and attempts to tie other Democrats to him don't seem to be working very well. In a bizarre, unintentional sort of way, he may be doing other Dems a favor by drawing fire away from them.

And it's STRONGLY DISAPPROVE not DISAPPROVE. Big difference.

Re: The Issaquah bus driver.

In the strictest sense, I cannot condone the actions of this person since she had a busload of children at the time, and I don't think children should be exposed to vulgarity by people who are in charge of them.

HOWEVER, from all the reports I've read, the kids didn't even see it - Shrub and Congressman Hairdo did, and they tattled on the bus driver.

And I could give a flying fuck if "Bush was enjoying himself until the bus driver's finger gesture caught his eye"

What a baby.
