If he gets elected, can I be his page? I'd get to the bottom of things in his administration.

Is Hugh street-legal for drinking in bars? He looks like he's about twelve.

Mmmm that French website you post is in fact the blog of a Quebecker, who is also at least a sympathizer with violent seperatism of the FLQ variety. He links to a page about the FLQ under the name "la patrie": (patrie meaning homeland as in homeland security)
So i dunno, just
1) s(he)'s not french
2) s(he)'s kinda creepy, the FLQ being the only successful terrorist operation in NA for the past 50 years except maybe Timothy McVeigh.

(Sorry I'm bitter cus sometimes the damn seperatistes make snide comments behind the backs of people like me with English accents as if we don't understand them and it makes me really angry)

Hi, the separatist here.

1) I'm a He (and not from a race made up for a mmorpg).

2) According to you logic, a majority of (quebecois) montrealers was kinda creepy when the FLQ was around (hint: Paul Sauve Arena). The FLQ is to be linked with palestinian resistance, the IRA, the FLA, etc. Linking it to a racist mass murderer ? Not too subtle. Also note that the majority of bombs was put by the RCMP (hint: royal commission). But I guess if we don't exist, there can't be a fight for national liberation, thus the work of lunatics.

I don't understand the last paragraph. 'English accent' refers to speaking in french, logically. So we are so dumb that we speak in french behind your back, knowing you understand, but not knowing it at the same time. We're very screwed up. Or do you mean speaking in english with an english accent ? I have a hard time getting served in french in Montreal, and from experience, it's not the U.S. or international students that refuse to speak the language of 'les quebecois', but the good old canadians. If we ever get free, it will be because of them.

Hugh's a UW student - you can extrapolate his age from his Facebook entry.

Hugh is 20. Street legal for Mark Foley and Dan's boy on the side, but not legal at all for Washington's ancient liquor laws.

And they are antiquated. You should check them out next time you're in Olympia. They're in cuneiform on stone tablets.

I'm curious. Has Foskett actually conducted any sort of campaign at all, beyond simply filing? Or made any kind of public appearance? Other than SECB endorsement and a slew of humorous Slog posts, I have heard nothing at all about him. He seems to have utterly ignored all of the free Stranger publicity he's received, including the endorsement. I've heard no mention of him at all from any other media source.

He obviously filed as a joke. I'm surprised that he hasn't taken the opportunity to go with it. He could have had some real fun with all The Stranger's attention.
