This is my favorite album cover (and the best album cover) of all time:

booooo urns.
Looks great in that lossy JPG for sure.
I am absolutely baffled how a guy who has this much passion for 80's album covers sleeps alone...
And besides, The Burning Sensations Belly of The Whale EP totally blows this cover out of the water!!
josh you must stop writing about music or you'll never get laid!
stick to iranian hostage crises for sure!
ps could you not google image a better image of this cover?
Fuck you all. Josh's love of Talk Talk Talk and nebulous Googling skills make me want him MORE.
(Which may be another reason he eventually chooses to stop writing about '80s bands and learn the ropes of Google image search...)
josh, i advise you check out bo diddley's the black gladiator, which i consider to be one of the greatest record covers of all time. both front and back. and, the record itself destroys all comers!
i think nipper will back me on this one.
Josh, I think I could spend a tenth of a second looking at that for every hour I have spent looking at Eno´s Here Come The Warm Jets.
Oh, please, when I was a radio DJ at Simon Fraser University we had TONS of covers of albums that were WAY better than that.
Houses of the Holy, just off the top of my head.
Not that the Furs aren't great. It's just calling their cover art the best is laughable.
So we should expect a new favorite album cover of all time on Monday then?
Gomez,
Ha! You're right. It's likely I'll have a new choice on Monday. Heck, probably even this afternoon. But it sounds like I should probably just keep it—and my bad goole images—to myself.
Looks like the kitchen is too hot for Mr. Feit. If only he could keep from posting such stuff... but then it would mean he would actually have to do work...so I expect to see another album cover in 20 minutes or so after the reality of the real world sets in.
Hey, if nothing else, it's consistent!
