I was at the game. Fuckshitpissdamnhell.

Bad Rex showed up, and brought all his buddies--it was like every Bear thought that the Fish were just going to flop on the ground gasping for air.

Might be a good wake-up call, might be a sign that the Bears were simply not that good.

Though 7-1 is still leading the conference, they're off on a 3-week road trip (Giants, Jets, Patriots) and could very easily be 7-4 when they next play at home.

Thank god for beer. Takes the edge off.

re: Bears...Can you imagine how much $ was lost on that game? They were laying 14. Not only did they not cover, the got their asses kicked.

Better watch out, Professor. The 2006 Bears could be the second coming of the 1999 Seahawks, who started 8-2. They had a good defense and a mediocre QB (Kitna). They finished 9-7, backed into the playoffs and lost in the 1st round to Vinny Testaverde's helmet.

The moneyline for the Dolphins must have been huge. You think a mobster laid some serious coin down and threw some similarly serious coin at some key CHI players? I know they're millionaires, but I can't imagine inflation hasn't made the mob similarly rich.

ANYWAY, I work in SODO and I find funny how much the SODOites are complaining about having to deal with the pregame traffic (which should begin rolling in no later than 2-3 pm) after they get off work. They should be glad the networks don't respect Seattle sports, and ABC/ESPN only brings MNF to Qwest Field once a year.

Oh god, I forgot about Vinny's helmet.

I think the Miami always plays well when called upon to end another team's undefeated season bid. The ghosts of 1972 come to play. Those ghosts may be called upon again during the final week of the season, when Miami hosts Indy.

Imagine the joy of the '72 Parking Lot Wine crew if both major unbeatens were knocked off by their Miami Dolphins.

Doug, Vinny's helmet actually kept them from being in the playoffs during the 98 season. The Seahawks lost to 80-year-old Dan Marino and the Dolphins, who went on to lose to the Jaguars 62-7 the following week.

Not in our house Raiders .....not in our house.
Give our QB some blocks Sea Hawks ,cause he's going to need it when he runs.

Looked like poor Rex started wincing a bunch once he realized his O-line couldn't protect him well enough against the Fins.

Everyone making fun of a guy like Andrew Walter or David Carr (not so much this year, tho) for getting sacked all the time. Ha-ha-ha, shitty team, ha-ha. It ain't so easy, Ol' Rex. You got a good taste of your beaten O-line getting you beaten yesterday.

Btw re: Bernard Berrian... What's the difference between bruised ribs and broken ribs? 3 Weeks.

Hey, nothing about the Sonics!

Oh, wait, they're moving.
