The most nonsensical ad campaign had to be Tripping the Light Comcastic. I'm probably the only one I know besides them that knows that's taken from a Paul McCartney album no one cares about, Tripping the Light Fantastic.
Their ads are as dumb as their service. I like when they turn on your service at a new place, then bill you for two months in the span of 2 weeks. Funny, that.

Also, I agree with Gabriel at #1 and have left Mr. Aravois a comment at AMERICAblog asking him about that point.
I know that presidents have been doing this turkey pardon for years and everything, but there's something really weird about pardoning a turkey and saving it from the slaughter, and making a big ceremony about that, when we're in the middle of a war in which hundreds of innocent people are being slaughtered each day because our president chose to create this fiasco.
Point taken on Milton, Gabriel. Given the technicolor nature of the ad, I'm more led to think, though, that they took it from McCartney than they took it from Milton.
One of these years, the president should just buck tradition, carry the sentence forward and put the turkey to death, on site. That'd be the perfect event for someone like Dubya. Maybe next year.
I was watching the Dog Show and they did a segmant on therapy dogs helping maimed soldiers in rehab recover emotionally, said one soldier whose head was caved in on one side and had scars running down his neck, "Dogs don't care what you look like - they just love you."
I never thought that the Purina dog show would be the ONLY place I'd see these soldiers. Heartbreaking story that needs to be told again and often.
