ok i have a question, how can my local 501c3 chamber of commerce take a stance on statewide initiatives. (and shitty stances at that). can't they lose their status?

My guess is that they are not a 501(c)3, but most likely a 501(c)6:

http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-tege/eotopick03.pdf

According to the Internal Revenue Code (IRC):

"IRC 501(c)(6) provides for exemption of business leagues, chambers of commerce, real estate boards, boards of trade, and professional football leagues (whether or not administering a pension fund for football players), which are not organized for profit and no part of the net earnings of which inures to the benefit of any private shareholder or individual."

I already voted two weeks ago. As did one-third of the state.

Will,

Bravo. Me too.

Our voters guide came out three weeks ago. And it's been on-line since then. I'm nudging the stragglers.

Why so bitchy?

Save the stupid humor for the paper not the "cheat sheet" Hugh Fosket. Fucking stupid. Now I can't trust you guys because I don't have time for you're not funny, insider, bullshit joke.
I wish the Weekly still did one.

Josh - Will isn't being bitchy. He's just finally putting to rest that nagging question that has been consuming conversations at water coolers, dinner tables, churches and bars everywhere for the last few weeks - "Has Will voted, and if so, when?" Mystery solved, we can now all get back to discussing what to do in Iraq, or who killed JonBenet, or is this the Rapture?

Thanks. When are you selling the bumper stickers? I expect 10 percent cut, of course, since it's my intellectual property.

Me neither, Will. I apologize. And I'm not going to be doing any bumper stickers. Just super-small Bebe-style T-Shirts. You should receive the licensing contract via certified mail by the end of the week.
