Comments on Braeburn Apples Are Grainy and Disgusting

It's only Washington Braeburns that are disgusting and grainy. Ones imported from New Zealand are fantastic. Just check the little sticker on the apple before you buy.

Don't buy imported fruit.

If you want grainy and disgusting, Christopher, try a rome. Yuck. It just falls apart in your mouth like sand.

I keep complaining about braeburn and everyone acts like I'm crazy. I just assumed it was because they were frozen on their way here (Hawaii). But it appears they just suck. I also think Fujis are grainy.

But oh, honeycrisps......I can only get them a few times a year, but when I do, it's like heaven in a fruit. Jazz apples are a close second.
