Barney Fife Arrested in Failed Kidnapping

posted by on November 15 at 16:43 PM

From MSNBC:

WICHITA, Kan. - A botched kidnapping ended with one of the assailants shooting himself in the groin, Wichita police said.

The man had just stuck the gun back into his waistband when it fired, shooting him in the left testicle. He cringed, causing the gun to fire again and strike him in the left calf.

If he'd been wearing his BumperNuts, he probably would have gotten away.

Too bad he didn't get both in one shot.

Don Knotts was was funny 'actor', and linking his character to this story is an insult.
I wouldn't mind having a Barney Fife as deputy in Seattle and it would be a hoot to have Mr. Ferley as a landlord.

Next time you'll be mentioning Van Gogh and Steve Buscemi whenever an ear gets cut off. Stick with sports and not humour Brad. You're a fantasy jock remember.

You should be eligible for the Darwin Awards.

I cringed just thinking about being shot in the testicle.

I'd imagine he did something a bit more than just cringe.

I hope it was .22 caliber.

Ryan,

Steve Buscemi (Mister Pink) was not in the ear cutting scene in Resevoir Dogs, it was Michael Madsen (Mr. Blonde).

I hope you remember that when you except your Darwin Award.

Way to go, Elswinger, the piece of pie goes to your little A&E "Trivial Pursuit".

Believe this, the Darwin Awards don't want me to 'except' for my deserved efforts. Paraphrasing SNL's parody of Blue Velvet's Dennis Hopper - I'll Freakin Freak their whole Freakin operation.
