What is so surprising for me is that in many states, raising the minimum wage has had a higher margin than banning same-sex marriage. I wonder if all of those Republican congressmen claiming to represent the "working man" have ever considered this when deciding what important legislative issues they should tackle on the floor of the Congress?

And I'm really, really glad that Amendment E in South Dakota went down, as well as I-933 and I-920 in WA. Gives some proof that the electorate isn't as crazy as I thought.
