I have one in my fridge that I've been saving for a special occasion. Not kidding.

Honeycrisps are the bomb, yo. They're still available at Safeway, but they have lost that first-of-the-year perfection that required me to eat multiple apples in one sitting. Still pretty tasty.

I like Fuji apples myself. I'll have to try the Honeycrisps at the beginning of the season. Is it me or are all Washington re apples mealy?
