Your point is an interesting one but I think fundamentrally flawed because....

I'm for the surface option, and appreciate Erica's work on this. The haters hate, and they hate loud, because they know in their hearts that they're wrong.

The surface option supporters probably voted for Kerry, which means they are terrorist sympathizers.

Wow this is already going super well! Although I contend further studies should have been conducted first with the mice. Their psyches are not so easily harmed.

I see your "viaduct," and raise you "a woman cannot say 'no' once intercourse has started". Ha!!

You're all wrong. The only sensible replacement for a viaduct is personal jet packs for everyone. Harrumph. I'm still waiting for mine. It was promised me DECADES ago by every s-f book and movie in the world.

Sorry, I was looking at the plans for the four-lane underwater tunnel of despair ... what was it you said, Erica?

Because ducks don't drown in 8.5 earthquakes with hot stochastic mud flows ...

Haters may hate loud, but love even louder. We love the viaduct.

No, some people just don't want to see this city make yet another incredibly stupid decision regarding transit.

Nice tactic calling people who hold a different opinion than yours haters.
You suck.

@19: Which "incredibly stupid decision regarding transit" would that be?

Supporting a waterfront tunnel that features NO INCREASE in transit and LESS ACCESS to Downtown?

Or voting to kill the Monorail Project which would have INCREASED TRANSIT on the Waterfront and actually INCREASED CAPACITY in the corridor?
