When the one Great Scorer comes to write against your name
he'll mark... not that you won or lost...
but how you played the game.

What bullshit!

Of his 78327476432 movies, my favorite Palance film is still Tango and Cash. Call me a sucker for bad movies, but he played the craziest, most hilarious and over-the-top villain boss I can remember in that film.

His finest moment will always be the one-hand pushups at the Oscars.

Damn, if I hadn't been drinking all night, I would have hoisted one to the memory of Mr. Palance.

It's getting to the point where we won't be able to toast the passing of "the great ones of Hollywood", because, seriously, who's really going to mourn the passing of people making movies nowadays?

my grandfather sold his Buick to Jack Palance way back in the 50s when he was in Bakersfield, California filming.
That was kind of cool. He was cool with Grandpa. He will surely be remembered by our family.

Too true, Comte. The good ones are almost gone.
