I have. Season 1, which went from not bad to bad by about episode 5. (If it isn't written by ur-lib David Chase, it's probably not worth watching. Even with a Queer Eye subtext.)

Cheaper than a movie rental. You watch the single dvds first, then hold onto the multiple sets after their due date.

I frequently returned library movies late as my own version of civil/corporate/library disobediance.

You can afford $1.05 for an extra week. I think a better policy would have some relation to the number of DVDs in the case - 2 or 3 for a TV series, then two or three weeks. Another possible policy could be to make it two weeks for DVDs that were released a year or two ago (i.e., new releases have a one week lending period). Waiting 6 months to a year to see a new DVD sucks, and I think most people can afford a $.15 per day fine if they need more than a week.

I'm glad they're extending it, but I'm not sure why they don't just split up the series so you get 1 or 2 discs at a time?

It's only about 18 hours total without the commercials or 9 hours per day. I did season 1 in about 5 days.

Towards the end you start to feel as exhausted as the characters on the show.
