Check out this biker guy in Hayward/East Oakland California who had a "silence of the Lambs" style room in his house where he killed possibly several people.

Re: Kreepy Karr...it is disturbing enough that this crazy fuck is "out walking the streets." But to think his computer is out there with all that kiddie porn is really fucked up.

Joy Rider, Seattle Times-Did they interview Barney the Dinosaur for that piece? Liam stole over 100 cars, ruined them, goes to jail, they exchange cigarettes & cheeseburgers to get him to cough up the info & everyone loves him?
(to Liam, I'm not knocking you, I'm sure you're lovely - I'm just jealous.)

Our dictator decides that he's, well a dictator.

"To shield FEMA from cronyism, Congress established new job qualifications for the agency's director in last week's homeland security bill. The law says the president must nominate a candidate who has ``a demonstrated ability in and knowledge of emergency management" and ``not less than five years of executive leadership."

Bush signed the homeland-security bill on Wednesday morning. Then, hours later, he issued a signing statement saying he could ignore the new restrictions. Bush maintains that under his interpretation of the Constitution, the FEMA provision interfered with his power to make personnel decisions."

Washington Death Trip, the Foley Dog Flog Continues: Dan Savage's Nation is so hard up for hard news that it keeps pumping hot air into this dead balloon of a story before pummeling the story into pulp. Then it pumps & pummels again.

But here's the good news: http://www.thestranger.com/seattle/Content?oid=84784. It seems that Mr. Savage writes a sicko sleaze column. And it further seems that Mr. Savage's sicko column is such a turn on to the tiny tots of a grateful Savage Nation, & that Savage's Wiki pic is go goddamn gorgeous, that the tiny tots show their appreciation by throwing their boxers, briefs, knickers, panties, & diapers.

But Mr. Savage, good man that he is, keeps a stiff ..... upper lip and Just Says No. They hit on him, but he doesn't hit back. No dirty IMs to toddlers from this good man, no sir. That's what Republican perverts do (the toddler of Foley's affection being a mere six weeks past his 18th birthday).

Until more Chuck Taylor All Stars drop, all we know is that Foley is a Republican pervert who did nothing illegal. That's why he promptly resigned. (Some Slogger wrote about taking out the trash. That's what the GOP does: hauls it at the first sniff of trouble or terpitude, Jim West excepted. Democrats re-elect theirs. That's the difference.)

So the Savage subtext is that, for Savage, Foley being a pervert isn't the real issue. The Savage Nation is all about perversion, after all. Foley's real crime, only nominally legal, is Foley was a Republican. Pervert? No problem if it's a Democrat pervert. But if he's Republican, he is by de facto definition a perverted hypocrite.

Foley was a Gay American who voted for DOMA ten years ago. That's hypocrisy. And that's cardinal sin to Savage Seattle secularists who evolved long ago beyond atavistic sin.

(Savage is a variation on the theme of Sullivan who writes that Foley was undone by the closet. It's the fault of repressive society that Foley is a self-hating closeted perv. As a closeted latent dormant hetero, I feel his pain, but this is all like AIDS being the fault of Reagan. Or like the expropriation of Seattle parks -- extolled by Savage as urban amenities --by gay sexual-athlete activists being the fault of suburban "homophobia." Whatever that is.)

Etc.

Was Madrided a couple days ago, outed as a troll. Not real sure what a troll is in the context of an anonymous shape-shifting Slog, but apparently it's like going to Republican caucuses and pretending to be a Republican, or like pretending to be a conservative and licking Gary Bauer's knob.

Trolling was recently elevated to an art form by the confection called 'fnarf' who trolled himself. Fnarf posted a post of patent-pending fnarf geek-speak (stuff about flattening nuances) that ended with a really unfortunate locution about turd eating, probably 'fnarf's' inscrutable way of saying 'I fight my own battles.' Then 'fnarf' had second thoughts. He conned his useful idiots at The Stranger into abetting self-censorship, claiming improbably that a deucedly clever troll had posed as the poseur called 'fnarf.' Go, as they say, figure.

On the Bob Rivers show this morning (I happened to be in a car while the radio was on, don't know what station that is), after laughing merrily about the chlorine gas escape (big yuks), they turned to the topic of Mark Foley, and the announcement about changing the page system to protect them. Then a sidekick said something like: "Funny they're so interested in reforming the page system, instead of the gay congressman system." One of those, Did I just hear what think I just heard? moments...

I hope you were lucky enough to watch Keith Olbermann tear The Decider a rip-ragged new one last night. It was absolutely beautiful.

Missing anything? FNARF, you absolutely read my mind! This is the boldest. Olbermann might not be long for MSNBC. High point is when he calls Bush a compulsive liar.

Oprah Milhous is out of rehab again, I see. But his meds still need adjusting. "Go, as they say, figure" sounds like a severely disassociated personality trying to keep up with its selves.

LH, that link led me to this, which is hilarious and spot-on, as Jon Stewart always is:

" ... a severely disassociated personality trying to keep up with its selves ... " High praise, indeed, coming from a self-trolling confectionary troll.

Got me confused again with Paul. You (plural) really MUST try to keep up.

Creep: A self-trolling confectionary troll prays for the prompt and unpleasant death of a black man, and he wants to run this anonymous shape-shifting gender-bending blog like a fascist asylum (user registrations! waiting periods! background checks!); but he calls me creepy.

Go, as they say, figure.
