Stranger Ties to Old Anglo-Dutch Empires Exposed!

posted by on October 13 at 9:45 AM

Well, they got us.

The Stranger has been working in concert with New Times/Village Voice Media, taking our marching orders from NT/VVM editorial head honcho Mike Lacey, who is in turn taking his marching orders directly from Vice President Dick Cheney. We had good run, but the jig is up. Our ties to the old Anglo-Dutch empires have been laid bare for all to see. All we wanted to do was destroy democracy! And we would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren’t for those damn kids in the LaRouche Youth Movement..

That *could* explain why all the Stranger's cigarette and Paradox advertisements have been mysteriously replaced with advertisements for tulips.

Does Rabobank have a big orange hotline phone on your desk, or do they use nefarious Bush-Cheney cabal thought-control techniques on you? I know you can't answer that; just use the word "the" somewhere in your next three Slog posts to confirm.

This is classic everything-is-connected, we-are-bound-by-a-thousand-invisible-wires LaDouchie writing. It's beautiful. I especially like "the LYM has had a powerful impact over the past two years". Mm-hmm.

If everyone knows about the conspiracy and we're all involved in it, is it still a conspiracy?
