They must've hired some Daily Show people. I love how they can just state bald-faced lies like that.

holy shit, the dems finally did something right.. hallelujah.

if we manage to blow it this time, i'm switching parties. i am tired of the "who sucks the most at being a hard-hitting, truth telling party" award being the only thing us dems win.

And the policy change is?

When are we going to learn that just pointing out the badnesses of the other side isn't going to win us anything?

Think "Morning in America." Sappy and lacking in substance though it was, it worked. I don't think we need to get quite that simplistic, but what's the last thing any democrat said or did that inspired the electorate?

If they run away from the GOP to us, that's fortunate for all concerned, but not due to much that we did.

I don't know, raggedrose. I used to think the same, but after 6 years of catastrophic incompetence and disastrous hubris, I think a return to mediocrity would be a welcome break. I mean, you can always wish for more, but for now, good lord, let's just stop the bleeding.

If only Pelosi had been laying out in the past month what a Democratic House would pass in, say, the first 100 hours....
