Politics Round 3: Burner Leads Reichert (Just Barely)
posted by October 30 at 13:05 PM
onThe group Majority Watch has just completed its third round of polling in Washington’s 8th Congressional District, and this new poll, conducted Oct. 24 - 26, finds Democrat Darcy Burner up by two percentage points.
That’s within the poll’s margin of error, but it’s good news for Burner, because undecideds (about 5-percent of 8th District voters, according to this poll) tend to break for the challenger.
Also: Check out the results in WA-05, which Majority Watch didn’t even bother to poll in the first two rounds, presumably because no one thought an Eastern Washington race would be this close.

Majority Who?
Completed interviews were compared to the voter registration file to validate results. Interviews were discarded when the surveyed demographic responses did not match the voter file information of the sampled likely voter. In this manner, approximately 1,000 interviews were validated for each district.
