Nice touch with the "Gay Panic" title. This man's politics might mean nothing to you Mr. Parks, but to someone like me it does. Sorry you were disappointed that there weren't any protests, but I chose to use my voice in other ways. Glad you enjoyed your evening so much and I promise we won't "Panic" anymore.

Are you the same guy who is raving about the "gays" at the Scissor Sisters show? So you enjoy gay bashing artists, but love watching us homos dance at a show? What's your deal man? We can entertain you, but you want us dead? Makes perfect sense to me. Do us gays a favor and stay home.

As for the show and its lack of protests, yes, there was a sense of disappointment there, but it was a "fly on the wall" account, not an essay on my personal beliefs, so I'll apologize if my words weren't damning enough for you, but dem's da breaks. However, if this man's words are so unwanted and have no place in "our community," then why is it that no one saw the need to protest the show regardless of venue? It's a big deal until it moves five miles away? What's up with that? So yes, I was disappointed that no one showed up to "represent the cause."

From a public safety standpoint, I'm glad nothing went down, but I am not going to apologize for saying that it was an entertaining show, since it was. I haven't defended the offending song or other statements made by Banton, and don't believe I've done that anywhere, so I'm not sure where your conclusion-jumping about my wanting gays dead stems from.

And yup, Scissor Sisters was a grand show. I enjoyed it mightily, the same way I'll enjoy shows in the future. Maybe you're the one that needs to get out more. I'm out a fair bit, so if you see me, come up and say hello.
