I often have the sense of being in a cloud at the downtown library. There are places where you cantiliever over the street and look down. The library feels full of energy and ideas ready to rain down on the street.
That's because it's WORLD CLASS!!!!
This is very true of Frank Gehry's work, especially perhaps his Pritzker Pavillion in Chicago's Millennium Park. I call it a storm of steel, but maybe it's a storm cloud. Frank must've had some rough flights at some point.
