News GOP Ignored the Real Warning Sign on Foley
posted by October 3 at 20:30 PM
onI don’t know if this has been reported everywhere already (I’ve been swamped and haven’t been devouring the Foley scandal), but I just looked it up and Foley was one of just 27 GOP House members (out of 229) who voted against the Constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage last July.
Hastert should have known he had a deviant in his ranks.

Is this post serious? Is it really suggesting that you would have to be an alcoholic pedophile to be a Republican and vote against a constitutional ammendment to ban gay marriage? And that the other 26 are obviously "deviants" too?
I doubt Josh had much of an idea what he was trying to say, let alone whether he was serious.
I wouldn't worry about it.
That was a lot to read into his post.
The vote that Josh does not comprhend at all - that vote was a critical victory for QUEERS not the right wing.
If Josh is correct in his reporting of the vote, Slime Ball Foley's voting record, then Foley has redeemed himself just one small smigen.
Josh, irony and satire are not cool on these votes. Beyond the closet and all the rest - Foley is stupid as a blob. And a good whore house would hazve been a better solution to his frustrations - perhaps pricely in DC, but much smarter.
I was wondering how Foley had voted on this. Thanks Josh.
And every one else needs to calm down. Josh is using a device known as sarcasm.
Snarky or not, Josh is posting about something even though he disclaimed that he hasn't been following the scandal.
Maybe you shouldn't be posting something, then, Josh? Just a thought.
There are so many other important and ignored national issues you could be blogging about instead.
I totally agree. Im shocked that the Family Values party didn't drum him out after the vote. This is what they get for their display.
At least Foley wanted to marry his victims.
Yuck.
