Temper tantrums, psychotic behavior, self-loathing, molestation? Hey, look on the bright side: he can run for Congress as a Republican before too long.

What about driving him someplace far away to the middle of nowhere and letting him out of the car?

/it worked for my pet dog...

Your not looking at the whole story. Here is PART of the rest of the story taken from that same article:

"First, she wanted him home after he had completed his sex offender treatment. But then psychologists deemed him a "sexual predator." That meant Briggs could no longer be a foster parent, which she considers her job. Nor could she allow her three grandchildren in her house. Nor could she keep a little girl she had cared for since the day she was born."

She couldn't have her OWN grandchildren at her house. The state has laws in place that made her choose. She's stuck in an all or nothing situations. No wonder the boys on suicide watch.

Actually Hollywood, I did read the whole story, and I wasn't casting blame. That's why I said it was soul crushing *from every angle.*

*Snap.

Actually I was just coming back on here to say "whoops" I didn't really read that part and I thought from the comments ( the dog one ) that you were casting blame, but alas you are not.

I am sorry

It is a truely soul crushing story.

I could never stay mad at you Hollywood. All is forgiven. Here is something to lift your spirits after such a soul crushing, horrid day. Do you like pets?

Despite the tragic situation, I don't see a reason to complain about the kid's sex offender status and the accompanying restrictions. He abused a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old. He shouldn't be around children, even (or especially) if he is literally incapable of controlling himself.

This actually happened to a couple I know: they adopted a young child without having been apprised of his past psychological history, which was fairly appalling. They had two young daughters, too, so in their case, it wasn't workable for them to keep this very sexually predatory youngster in the same house with their girls - they ended up having to sue CPS to get the file on the boy, and finally to force the state to assist them financially when it was determined the boy needed to be in permanent care, for his and everyone else's safety. If you've ever dealt with the few places that will take a violently acting-out teenager, you know how hard they are to get into (long, long waits), and how expensive. The whole thing was a nightmare, and these are people who were devoted to this boy, even after it became clear he was uncontrollable and violent.

It's a horrible thing for all concerned. In some cases, child social care agencies are so concerned with getting a child adopted (a laudable goal, to be certain) that they are not as forthcoming as they ought to be about the child's history. That leads to regrettable situations like the one my friends experienced. I don't know if that's the case here, too, but it sort of sounds like it.

The whole story is avaliable on many news sites, and it explains that the mother wants to unadopt the boy because she is trying to protect her other children from him. He molested and assaulted a 2 and a 6 year old, the mother is not just throwing him away for the fun of it. I would think that type of Michael Moore editing wouldn't appear in the stranger.

Where can I find the story of this bad child? He must be related to J who left his dog out in the desert? Very funny!
