But does that count absentees?
Roughly 70% of all eligible voters in King County receive absentee ballots now, although I have no idea what the actual return rate is.
What about the half of all absentee ballots mailed yesterday and today that won't even get counted until AFTER this Saturday?
I wouldn't call any elections tonight. Wouldn't be prudent.
Prudence isn't that hot.
I Predict. 17,642 votes Final ceftification 43rd Posistion 1.
Dick Kelly 1817
Lynne Dodson 1974
Stephanie Pure 2301
Jamie Pederson 3157
Jim Street 3960
Bill Sherman 4,147
Bill Sherman by 187 votes.
Accuracy is overrated; it's precision that counts. But why is Sherman the only candidate who merits a comma?
Come visit Seattle's Drinking Liberally tonight at the Montlake Ale House!
It is also the location of Bill Sherman's election night party.
Lynne Dobson's will be at the B&O.
Does anyone know of any others?
Yes that counts absentees-- if you try the link you'll see that the county expects only roughly 1/4 of all absentee voters to actually even return their ballots.
Stephanie Pure's Post election bash is at Piecoras starting at 8pm:
1401 East Madison
OK, who won?
I'm tuned and anxious to know!
Bill Sherman is the man and the DV prosecutor for King County.
