Thank you for mentioning Ed, an old college friend of mine. You can take some solace in his expected (his words) firing that still shocked him in its offensiveness through his two blogs. One, The Dizzies, is just fascinating Ed-ness. The other, www.saturnhead.blogspot.com (Mr. Saturnhead), is an excavation and explication of his college-days cartoon strip, the primitive and superb Mr. Saturnhead. Ed was one of the humor editors, and he occasionally allowed me to publish drivel that I called humor.
