A fish? Didn't see that coming.

Indeed sad news. But, this is a guy who made his living taunting animals.
As Spaulding Gray said, "when you play in nature, she is a beautiful woman; when you play with her, she is a bitch."

I always assumed he'd be killed by an enraged Paul Hogan.

Stingrays are like that. They will pierce your heart it you let them.

Sad. I liked him. Reminds me of the Grizzly Man. What is it with these people???

Indeed. He died doing what he did best: fucking with nature.

I was stung in the foot by one of those things a couple of years ago. It really hurt. I didn't cry-tears were shooting out of my eyes.

He is only the second person ever to die from a stingray wound. Considering he's held a taipan by the tail, that's pretty ironic. This really sucks for his family, but also for all of us. Irwin may have been a geek, but he did more for wildlife and habitat preservation than just about anyone in history. Australia will miss him, and so will I.

This is a cover-up to make his death animalistic. He got shot by a mad dude.

2 Deaths is not true. There have been now 17 total in the world.
