Stranger reporters can't do that MFW. Asking those involved makes it difficult to write stories based on rumor and speculation. Plus, it's easier to post it here and ask Slog readers to figure it out.

Just because you work for a newspaper doesn't mean you have to be a reporter. Lot's of people work at The Stranger don't know anything about journalism and work at The Stranger just to write. That's why it's Seattle's most important newspaper.

Who said anything about disliking The Stranger? I love this fuckin' newspaper. People used to accuse The Stranger of hatin' on Seattle. But I love all the bitch out stories Dan Savage has written over the years.

If you don't like the sour tone of Slog the go someplace else. Personally I've always loved all the hatin' and venom in The Stranger. It's funny.

Where in Madrona?

The sign is located on the northwest corner of 33rd Avenue and East Pike Street. I live up the block and around the way from there and pass it 5 days a week on my bicycle. Yes, the people who own the house are brothers and sisters. And what about Madrona and Seattle being racist? The whole damn neighborhood and city? Shit, it's not perfect, but the whole city of Seattle is not racist.
