I'm irked that no one seems to care about the fact that McGavick got a DUI. They seem more upset that he's fuzzy about some of the details.

Westneat and others seem to think that driving drunk is no big deal. I'm shocked by this. It's a huge deal. I know I'm going to get the Nanny Treatment on this because it's not "cool" to be concerned about drunk driving, but it's completely dangerous and it kills people every day and I or any of my friends or family to be one of them.

Drunk - McGavick TOLD an interviewer that he still drinks and drives; he just "knows his limit" now. He considers 0.05 perfectly OK, which it is under the law, but it's not a good idea, because you are somewhat impaired at that level.
