The Infernal Noise Brigade Lives On—On the Mississippi

Posted by on August 10 at 8:46 AM

Its members, along with artists from around the country, are going on a little river-rafting trip:

Theoretically, the crew plans to stop in various river towns to give workshops on everything from silkscreening to power tools and put on a performance — a kind of punk-rock musical variety show — followed by a dance party. They have no money, less expertise and nothing by way of permits. Imagine if Don Quixote, Salvador DalĂ and Che Guevara collaborated on a floating medicine show.

Man, the only thing that would make that cooler is if they were sponsored by a major automobile company. That would be sweeeeeet.

It's good to hear these losers have left town. Red States deserve them. I never liked their "Music" or their self-serving politics. Musicians who whine about everything and expect you to care should move to Mississippi.

how can you wish "good riddance," regardless of politics? they were one of the few groups here actually making music with creativity and vibrance. most of the local music consists of terribly boring rock bands.

"INB lives on"?!
SOME EX-members of the INB or going on this river trip...

Good Riddance you should move to a Red State, you'd be much more comfortable there. Or perhaps the new fun-free puritan Seattle suits you?
Our politics were never self-serving as we didn't have any.
All the time and money we put into enlivening this berg and helping people here and around the world and you somehow think we were doing it for self-serving politics? I guess we see the level you operate at.
