Wow, that's a beautiful morning. It makes me very happy to think of sitting out on the bay at dawn. Being far away from Seattle at the moment, it gives me a little vicarious thrill.

Incidentally, Amy, though I'm eight hours ahead of PST, we probably got up about the same time today.

Nothing is more American than a day out fishing. As Israel kills Islamo-Terrorists and their children, we Americans can kick back and relax with our fishing poles. Israel will defeat Iran. Americans can stand strong and refuse to change our way of life one bit. Gas is still cheap enough here to pour into our fishing boats, and to take driving vacations. The terrorists have not won. What time is the Salmon Barbeque?

I don't drive, I don't fish, I don't think I'm saving the world ..... but why don't you pick on all the other people in all of the other countries that are enjoying their lives, even as the world becomes a scarier place. I'm sure many people are aware of the situation in the Middle East and our big fuck up part in it, but really, what are you going to do about it today? So, please, just go out and enjoy the salmon bake or go visit someone dying in a hospital and ask them what they think about it, Josh.

Recreational boats use tons of gas and cause global warming. If we outlawed recreational boats and snow mobiles it would make a dent in global warming. We should not be celebrating this huge waste of gas. I drive my hybrid car to Whole Foods and only eat organic, sustainable meals. If everyone would see Al Gore's movie and drive hybrid cars we could make a difference.

How about not having children..... that means one less human not driving a hybrid car and not eating at all, no matter what the source.

I can't believe Kimberly sees movies. Doesn't she know that movie theaters are destroying the environment with their enormous consumption of energy (for air conditioning, projector light bulbs) and resources (giant tubs of popcorn, oversized soda drinks, ticket stubs that are thrown away NOT recycled)? Not to mention the resources the movie producers used just to make their movie! If we outlawed movie theaters it would make a dent in global warming. DON'T see Al Gore's movie. Instead, just imagine what it must be like and you could make a difference.

People who deny global warming are causing all the problems. Global Warming is happening and we must do everything we can to stop it. I carpooled to the movie theatre when I saw the film, and brought organic popcorn to eat. I recycled my Coke cups after the film was over. What are you doing besides trying to deny global warming is happening?

What I am doing? I am going fishing to enjoy the environment while it lasts.
