juergen teller rocks. but the WOODS don't really suit his light-and-mote-flooded aesthetic so well. i'd dig these more if they were, you know, woodsy.

The Towleroad link goes to a brief story on Armistead Maupin on how he is trying to age gracefully. It's true that gay men don't have very many role models when it comes to that, but I can't see where aging gracefully includes a partner half one's age. Seems contradictory somehow.

Glad he's working on even more Tales from the City. It's what he does best - gossipy comedy. "Maybe the Moon" was an interesting enough book, but "The Night Listener" had the uniquely opposing characteristics of being both strange and boring. I hear the movie is pretty much the same.
