All I’m Saying Is

Posted by on August 16 at 16:02 PM

That I loved this story about Maine (where I am spending all of next week), which featured this image:

And that this big fancy artist is coming to town next Thursday, when I’ll be out of town, so Christopher Frizzelle will bring to you the gist from the guy who is unabashed about giving you images like this:

And that I’m sorry it is so late in the day, but I’ve been giving some thought to Yoko Ott and Michael Van Horn’s planned High Tech V. Home Ec Bumbershoot shows, which include images by the artist Orly Cogan that you can find here (it’s a shame I can’t import one but they’re not click-on-able).

Those are GWB's tire tracks. Or maybe Dick Cheney's.

We used to own French House Island near Jonesport, loved sailing there every summer, eating lobster and blueberry pancakes. Clam digging, gathering mussels for my mom, swimming in the very very very cold water (yeah, neck deep), and walking at low tide over to the post office in our hip waders.

Ah, good times.

On a Windows PC, the "Print Screen" button, up there in the group of three that look like they once had a purpose that is now forgotten, like a gutted building beside train tracks, will actually *copy* what's currently on the screen when pressed. Then, you can open MS Paint, Photoshop, or whatever, and paste, and crop, and voila l'image. The fact they made the whole site a flash animation could mean they don't want you doing that... but that's up to you.

Resembles a vulgar Hopper. big deal.

So tell us about the Fischl event.
I love his work.
