A Commercial YOU’LL NEVER SEE in the U.S.!

Posted by on August 30 at 11:11 AM

From British television, introducing the Ford Sportka—a very nasty little car.

Tip o’ the hat to RT!

Did you just get an Internet connection or something? You're about two years behind on this one.

Not a cat lover but a truly bizarre commercial. Maybe if the cat had pissed on the car?

So, does it use biodiesel? And if so, what kind?

Why did Muffy have to die?

Is it real?

There are many thing I wish American censorship did not bar from our airwaves. The realistic decapitation of housecats is not one of them.

Wow, that is truly horrible. Normally I love British commercials (they're usually the best part about British TV), but that was irredeemably awful. I guess they probably cornered the psychopath market with that ad, though.

Old, and AFAIK never actually screened.

if ford made cars like this in the US, maybe they'd have a market share. jeez. i need a car like that, minus the cat business.

Assholes.

WM., you just found this? This is so... 2004 *yawn*

Suz, no, it isn't real. It is a prank (albeit a very well done one). It never aired. A brilliant example of the very definition of dark humor. So twisted. So sick. So funny.

Thanks SDA! Now I can enjoy the commercial knowing that Muffy didn't really die. I'd hate to accused of watching Cat Snuff videos! :)

It's not a prank, it's a viral marketing campaign that Ford denies authorizing, though some people are skeptical:

I thought it was going to be funny....then it was just disgusting.

I laughed so hard I almost peed myself! Jeez, people lighten up! You kids in the PC crowd need to take a hit and have some fun.

I'm sure the future serial killers of the world got a rise out of it, too.
