Tyranny in Provincetown, MA

Posted by on July 26 at 14:24 PM

I’m less concerned about whether state-sanctioned gay marriage will threaten families or the bedrock of civilization or whatever than I am about whether it will inspire homos to start punching me in the face. In Massachusetts, where the marriage parity question is in serious flux, the gays are feeling their oats and oppressing straights. And, even worse, Jamaicans!

In one serious incident a man was charged with assaulting a woman who signed a petition to ban same-sex marriage in Massachusetts.

Granted, I’m not likely to be caught signing petitions, but you know how violence spins out of control. Like in the Middle East. And video games. I don’t know about the other straight people in this office, but I’m getting a little nervous.

Not to worry. Just as the Catholic homosexual pedophilia scandal wasn't about homosexual pedophilia (we are told it was really a conservative-hierarchy-celibacy scandal), the Provincetown gay bashers scandal isn't about isn't about gays because bashing inconvenient people isn't just a gay thing. It's a leftist thing.

For example: When our Initiative 200 was being born, enlightened & tolerant leftists bashed petition signers & petition gatherers; then they tore up the petitions. See? Not a gay thang at all.

And since there are certainly no leftists in your office, fear not. Your civil liberties and you face are safe from assault.

I certainly feel like punching someone in the face.

Come to think of it, I haven't felt this irrationally violent in years.

Think I'll go look for a fight.

Gay Agenda, what a load of all too typical conservative Paranoia. You muthers thrive on that shit. Did you ever think that maybe you're NOT a victim, and that the problems in your life are actually YOUR FAULT?

Oppression (As Defined By The Left):

"The exercise of authority or power in a cruel or unjust manner."

Oppression (As Defined By The Right):

"Any attempt to prevent the exercise of authority or power in a cruel or unjust manner."

Wah! Wah! Wah! I'm not being allowed to tell others how to live or what faith to practice or how to practice it! I'm an Oppressed Christian! Wah!

Wah! I have to live in a world with people who believe different things than I do and I'm not allowed to openly discriminate against them! Wah! I'm an Oppressed Christian!

It's so hard to live in a world where there are people who Do Things and Think Things that I don't Approve Of!

You're *not* straight, Brendan.

I'm curious what portion of the reports involve people being insulted for supporting a ban on gay marriage, and people being insulted just for being hetero. The first link only gives two examples, and one of them is someone being called a bigot for signing a petition in support of a constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage, which is a well-deserved insult. That being said, everyone needs to back the fuck off from any kind of generalizations about the beliefs of an entire group of people.

"Oppressed" Christians can still tell people how to live. They just can't force us to live that way.

I haven't heard of a nice peaceful resort area going lawless since, what... Chiapas? Cuba?

Apparently life on the Cape ain't all cod and cranberries, and the locals are getting restless.

I don't Think I could have invented any better example of hypocritical ignorance.

Yeah, Noink... it's unfair to judge any group of people... well, unless they disagree with you, of course. If that's the case, well... fuck 'em.

Your mind's rationalization mechanism must be a scary, scary thing to witness.

Sorry about the double post. My fingers get awfully twitchy around the liberally insane.
