Terror on a Tuesday

Posted by on July 11 at 9:50 AM

At least 135 are dead after six or seven bombs were detonated at a crowded train station in Mumbai, India. The bombs were set off around 6:30 pm. No group has come forward yet to claim responsibility.

This horrific scene of course could happen in our back yard. Couple of bombs on a ferry would get all kinds of international TV exposure.

On 7-Eleven, no less.

See, knowing that our ferry boats might be sunk, Homeland Insecurity has wisely shipped all the money for such things to Podunk, Ohio, so that the money will be spent in a red state instead.

What the fuck do rebel groups think they will gain by killing innocents? Seriously. I can understand infrastructure attacks as a way to bring the (stronger) opponent to their knees... but you'd think they'd want to win over the hoi paloi, and not blow them up.
Stupid stupid. I hate dehumanization.
