Harry Potter! Live! Onstage! Starkers!
Daniel Radcliffe will strip off his Harry Potter eyeglasses and robes for his London stage debut next year. The 17-year-old actor, who plays the bespectacled schoolboy wizard in the Hollywood adaptations of J.K. Rowling’s novels, will star as a troubled stableboy in Peter Shaffer’s “Equus.”
And I think Ron is going to be hotter when he's all grown up anyway.
Does this mean we get to see the eternal boychick, Baron Von Sprechen in Holleran's "Egguus" again?
Will Radcliffe be visiting Enumclaw to research his role?
Perhaps they will rewrite the role to include languidly stares into space a lot. He's got that down. Then again maybe Equus will be less of a stretch than pretending to like girls, sort of.
The Equus character doesn't fuck the horses, he stabs them in the eye. Though I think a play about the Enumclaw incident would be, uh, riveting.
BTW, are people in Enumclaw annoyed that their town's name is now shorthand for horse-fucking?
I`d rather see the part played by Randy Harrison (who did play it at the Berkshires last year).
I really dont think Dan is cut out for the part.
Does this not weird anyone else out? Why can't he wait till he's 18 to do these kind of roles so the rest of us don't feel like sex pervs.
