I don't know if you guys have already seen the one on the door handle at the Hideout, but it's adorable.

on the olive way overpass --> [flickr]

There's also one on the stop sign on Boylston & Pine, kitty corner to the market next to Linda's.

And there have been "socks" on the mailbox next to that stop sign for months.

I watched three people attach one to a pole outside the Harvard Exit a few days ago. The kids spent a good 20 minutes fluffing their wool for maximum presentation and taking photos of their handiwork.

What I wanna know is, do you knit the thing on location, or do you knit a big rectangle and then quickly knit it together on the spot?
