It's likely that for the scruffy troglodyte, the only interest the film could serve is sensationalistic and prurient (if you are into forseflesh - and who isn't - at least a little). Bestiality like other fetishes though are interesting because they exist at junctures where discourse and desire meet in conspicous ways. No answer to the *why* question seems to cut it, and the whole talk-guiding-action paradigm seems broken. For anyone who's read Foucault or Heidegger (Foucault on the complex relationship that exists between discourse and power-structuring-action, and Heidegger on the manner in which ruptures of the significative structure we rely on put us face to face with that structure itself), all sorts of extreme perversities are pretty darned interesting to think about.
