End Times! Yay!

Who likes disturbing message boards?

Check this one out.

As things spin further and further out of control in the Middle East, the rapture fetishists are getting really excited. Could this be it??

Creepy.

It took a while to get past the flashy sigs, and overuse of emoticons, but good god what is wrong with these people. They are worse then the fuckers who dress up for the movies, or hang out in the park and beat each other with PVC pipe.

At least the weird bible stories, fun WMD conspiracy theories, and wild peculation are good for a laugh. And that brings us to:

Fun quotes!!!!
"I am tired, have been on here since this morning, but I'm almost afraid to not be. I may go lay down for a bit, and try to get up and come back. I wish there was a cowbell (!) yall could ring if something happens, so I'd be able to come back in time."

"I haven't been able to serve the LORD very long, and now it seems like it's almost OVER already!! Are we sure Gog/magog will happen in the Trib?? AARGH!! Please LORD give me more time!" Followed by a series of annoying emoticons.

"But what about a chem. or bio weapons attack, id hate to see it happen but we all know more most of us know that Saddam sent most of in not all his WMD'd to Syria."

"The muslims in America are just too quiet..."

Most are from this thread

Damn it - the board's registration has been disabled. Probably to prevent just the sort of pranksterism I was about to commit.

If peace were to actually happen in the Middle East these rapture freaks are going to be very disappointed.

I'll bet it would be pretty easy to convince a rapture believer that The Rapture already happened and that they got left behind.

yeah, it's disgusting that these people are hoping, if not praying, for violence to escalate--in order to fulfill end-times biblical prophecy. as homer simpson said, "i wish god were alive to see this."

I've seen some wierd forums but this one takes the cake. the thread the first poster linked to sums up the group really well. it goes to show that when crackheads put their pipes down for a few minutes they can accomplish anything... such as forming a group with other crackheads with similar goals.

Oh, oh, Rick, I think that's a FANTASTIC idea. Find out where the kooks congregate -- outside a kook church on Sunday when they're all inside maybe -- and then artfully arrange a few piles of "abandoned" clothes in such a way as to suggest the bodies in them just up 'n' went. Maybe for the slow ones you could actually stand there as they came out, jabbering "th-th-th-they jes' up 'n' went! Up inta the SKA!"

Oh Jesus Fnarf, that's brilliant. As the Seattle organizer of Brides of March, Santarchy, and other wayward cacophony, I may have to take you up on that.

Isn't it God's job to bring about the end of the world, not the people? Someone should point out to them that they are technically trying to play God by getting so excited and pushing for the end of the world. Doesn't it seem a bit ungrateful not to enjoy what God has given you currently instead of saying, "this isn't good enough, I want to get to the end." Which is a sort of instant-gratification which is something most evangelical Christians thing is bad bad bad.
But hey what do I know, I am just a hypocritical Catholic who is a cannibal on the weekends.

I don't know what to say about this. It would be funny if one of these people wasn't the president.

Fnarf, that is an evil idea. My kind of evil!
