“Encouraging Procreation”

Posted by on July 31 at 10:20 AM

As last week’s Washington State Supreme Court decision made clear, procreative heterosexual intercourse is at risk of extinction and must be protected and encouraged by any means necessary (including such stupid, bigoted means as denying marriage rights to same-sex couples).

To help keep the fundamental human drive for reproduction from going the way of the 8-track, please enjoy this German guide to getting your procreative freak on.

Ausgezeichnet!!

The birth pictures are the most disturbing drawings I've seen in a long time.

"Dann komen die Ärme des Kindes heraus." The child appears to be pulling itself out of the birth canal by grabbing his Mutter's thighs. Maybe that's common in Germany. That would explain a lot.

*looking this over wearing my mom and midwife caps*

pictures---not too bad
text---not bad, according to my 2 quarters of German

birth itself---ACK! Why is she on her back? Why are both men just standing there smiling? It's her face we should see, with a working hard look! Oh, wait---nice fetoscope. The lack of machines surrounding the mom is refreshing. Still, I expected better from Germany, where most of the births are midwife attended.

*clicks mouse muttering disgustedly*

Okay everyone, go back to thinking about procreation.

I don't need drawrings to encourage me, I just need alcohol ads in the Stranger.

Excuse me, I have to go over to Essential Bakery and flirt with the staff.

Clearly the legislature has never been to Utah, or anywhere in the South. Those people have no trouble procreating en masse.

There's an American version of that book as well. My mother gave it to me when I was 5 or so. I used to stare at that book for hours.

Germany currently has a negative population growth rate; maybe they are hoping this will turn things around.

I love how apparently they both don't get to wear clothes until the baby is several months along...
