I agree with Doug; Steve Scher is a great host. Can hang easily in most guests' genres. But, I posit that freshly back from his one-month vacation, Scher sounds vacation-hung-over and sounds like a big, annoyed grump for this last week. Shit happens.

maybe Steve and Ken Schram need to go kayaking this weekend - they both sound like they need a break.
