Hey, straight people: right-wingers want to take repress your sexuality, too. Here’s a developing story about a fresh round of obscenity charges the Justice department is leveling at porn companies, just in time to look good for the upcoming election.

Translation, please.

Barnes v. Glen Theatre, Inc., 501 U.S. 560, 569 (1991), that Indiana’s public indecency statute furthered “a substantial government interest in protecting order and morality,” ibid., (plurality opinion); see also id., at 575 (Scalia, J., concurring in judgment). State laws against bigamy, same-sex marriage, adult incest, prostitution, masturbation, adultery, fornication, bestiality, and obscenity are likewise sustainable only in light of Bowers’ validation of laws based on moral choices. Every single one of these laws is called into question by today’s decision; the Court makes no effort to cabin the scope of its decision to exclude them from its holding. See ante, at 11 (noting “an emerging awareness that liberty gives substantial protection to adult persons in deciding how to conduct their private lives in matters pertaining to sex”).

So THAT'S what "take repress your sexuality" means. Thanks for explaining it in language that even us right wingers can understand.

('Bowers' = Bowers v. Hardwick, I presume.)

She's saying that All Your Sex Are Belong To Them.

There are laws against masturbation? Uh oh.
